Reading up on this subject is crazy

My challenge is that the internet is filled with lots and lots of information on this. The terminology is crazy and difficult to comprehend.
Cuckholding
Hotwifing
Wife swapping
Swinging
Cuckold
Hotwife
Slutwife
What struck me was this obsession with labling things and defining things. It did not fit into any of the ideas I had of my wife sleeping with another guy while I knew about it and encouraged it.
I liked elements of some of all of the things but not others.
I did not really want to actively participate in anything but I did want to know what happened. I did not want to be humiliated, but I kind of liked the idea that guy had to be an excellent lover... maybe better than me (although I know my wife's body's every nook and cranny and I am THE world's foremost expert in getting the best out of her). I wanted to help her find someone, but not necessarily talk to them.
With the amount of data out there and some of it is basically just guys writing fantasies, I eventually started to sift everything to see where I fitted in.
To use internet jargon, I liked some elements of cuckolding and some of hotwifing.
I did a bunch of quizzes online to work out where I thought we would fit in and be comfortable. The most important aspect of the entire process was that somehow I needed to convince my wife this was something we would both enjoy.
So here I found a guy who calls himelf The Cuckold Consultant.
I liked the way his website read and so I bought ALL his books.
I even exchanged some emails with him but I got the idea he was more keen on me spending money on his "personal plan" than to actually provide some advice (which he says he gives in small supply if one buys certain of his books)
Here is where I decided to go it alone.
