You awake in a dark forest, lit only by the light of a waxing moon and starry sky.
Goosebumps raise on your flesh where a cold wind blows and you shake and shiver uncontrollably in the chill night air.
Looking around groggily does nothing to ease your confusion. You went to bed at home as usual last night - you have no idea where this is, how you got here or why you are naked.
You start to rise from the floor where you lie - hoping a course of action will become clear with a better view. As you stand, you place your foot on something sharp sending a bolt of pain up your leg and you let out a whimper of pain. Blood rushes to the area providing a temporary sensation of warmth - but, in the darkness, you cannot tell if you are bleeding or not.
From the canopy of trees above, you can hear sniggering. Looking up you can just make out two faces. Long and thin with high cheek bones, their skin is nearly as dark as the forest itself, But their hair, eyes and teeth gleam white in what light there is. Both are staring at your small pale human body.
One of them speaks, but you cannot understand even a single word, "Feir dal delmah lotha uss?". The voice is deep and raspy with stress upon the sibilant sounds, hard d's and rolled r's. Witnessing your incomprehension, the companion laughs again, this voice is much higher in pitch than the first - obviously taking great joy in your suffering.
What do you do?
