One day later that week, my boss approached me. "Don," he said, "I need you to prepare yourself. This Friday, you're with me." His words hung in the air. "We're heading to a secluded resort up north, just the two of us."

I swallowed hard, a mixture of excitement and fear coursing through my veins. It was clear that he wanted to escalate things further. But what he said next made my heart skip a beat. "And Don, I need you to pack some women's swimwear. I want you to dress as a woman from morning till night. It's an integral part of my work-life balance strategy."

I was taken aback. Dressing as a woman was something I had never considered before. But I had already been on this unusual journey with him, and it seemed I was far too deep in it to refuse.

So I agreed. As the days ticked by, I found myself ensnared by a flurry of feelings. Anticipation. Anxiety. But also a strange kind of thrill. The whole situation was surreal, and yet I found myself drawn to the mystery of it all.

On Friday, I left for work with a suitcase. Inside was a bikini and a sundress I had discreetly purchased the day before. My wife, none the wiser, wished me a good trip, assuming it was a work-related retreat.

As I arrived at the resort later that day, clad in my new attire, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was a man on the brink, teetering between the familiar and the unknown. That day, it seemed, would push me well into the unknown.
