I picked up dozens of cock rings of varying sizes and thicknesses -- prior to this I'd just used the bolo-tie type. For extended use, I keep a solid, hard rubber job at the base of my cock -- this pretty much can stay on all day (obviously, I'm not staying erect that entire time :-) ). To switch things up, there's the hard, elastic cock and balls ring combo that's work to get on, but really does the job. Sadly, I have a pretty small nutsack, but this thing keeps them front and center -- perfect targets for a whack with a wooden spoon -- I find that helps with the edging aches after the first day or two.

I just love the feeling of a plug for long sessions -- particularly when walking around the house after sitting in front of the screen for a while -- adds a little bounce to my step. :-) I picked up a smaller glass model, which I like, but have graduated to large metal versions, that hurt quite a bit going in at first, but which are much more "filling." This is why I don't mix sounding and edge play -- the feeling is so amazing, I just lose control and end up spewing all over. Have also experimented with silicone sounds -- they're safer than the long metal ones, but the feeling isn't as intense as it is with metal, and I invariably end up hitting my prostate and thar she blows! These seem to require two hands, as well.  Currently, I've worked my way up to a nice 8mm ribbed stanlesss dilator that feels incredible as my fingers stroke up and down the underside of my cock.
