Sorry I've been AWOL on ya'll, folks, but life caught up with me in a big way between June and October between school, the "day job" and family health issues.  The Monk was actually living the bachelor life for three months while my wife traveled to Denver to welcome our first grandchild (a boy) into the world with her family.  So I have successfully accomplished the feat of becoming "Gramps" without the interim stop as "Pop".  

That being said, I'll be doing the bachelor thing again for a week in November with the Thanksgiving Holiday.  I fly to Denver a week after my wife and will meet said Grandson for the first time just before I get stuffed full of great food by the in-laws.  Gotta love in-laws when they not only feed you, but also add damsel-dementing toys to your equipment bag.  Admittedly, most of them I *can't* use on my wife because she just doesn't bend the way that some of this gear would require... but if you know any fine, deserving damsels in need of detention, punishment and pictures, send them to San Diego and have them contact me!

We also FINALLY were able to take care of a medical issue (a very bad hiatal hernia) that had plagued my wife since 2007 (five years before we met, seven years before we married.  But we are now looking into yet another medical challenge that has reared its ugly head.  More on that later once we have more clarity on it.

However, you're here for the pics, not to hear me ramble.  So for this update I've added fourteen pics from my 2009 shoot with Sadie Simone to get her folder started off.  More pics to come later, so stay tuned!

• 31 Oct 2022: Added fourteen images and created Sadie Simone's folder!  Also added a gallery for a new feature, "Shoots for my Friends" where I'll be sharing pics from shoots that I've done for friends who allowed me to share some of the images from our work.  My friend NeverYours is the first feature, with 21 images currently in her gallery.
