    The Junk to the junk

25.Surely you have a cursed place in your house where rubbish or a mess constantly accumulates. Balcony, personal box, table. You clean up there, yes. But soon everything is still there, as if someone had thrown a firecracker there.

I had one like this when I was a kid. There was chaos all the time. Someday, my mother once again distracted me from important matters (I then came up with a heartbreaking story that took place in the world of decks of cards) and told me to clean up the bar (I had a Soviet “wall” it's a kind of furniture, many boxes and wardrobes, in one style which takes whole wall, in my room and here is the box that was created as a bar, it was my school box, and the opening lid served as a table for me, where I made everything, painted, did my homework and etc) so that she would not see this mess. I looked dejectedly at this chaos, took a shawl and covered it all nicely, closed the lid and returned to my important story. Mother came back and asked if I had cleaned it. I honestly said yes. She asked: if I open a bar now, what will I see? I also honestly said that she would not see the mess. Mother opened the box, and strangely began to sob. For several minutes, the person simply silently looked at the beauty of formal logic, representing the picture "The Ram and the New Gates." Because she didn’t know whether to start yelling or laughing.

    - What's under the shawl? - she thought out to ask.

    - And what it is your business there, woman? - I asked reproachfully.

Well, this doesn't work. Sweeping trash under the sofa doesn't work.

What to do so that some places are not littered? Assign each thing in this corner (and when you see the result, you can extend it to the entire living and working space, and then to the mental one) to its place. Whenever you take something from there, return it "home". When you buy or take a new thing, before you grab it, assign it its own place.

The reason for the disorder is always and only things are out of their place. The same is true for people.
