I came from wealth, and I am not happy about it.
Growing up, I was taught that ordering the most expensive wine in a restaurant was pathetic, that you had to know about the place and year, that you had to be impressed, rather than "I know the wine because I love it".
"There are people of a different breed," said an uncle of mine, "some are born to be great, while others were simply here..." I grew up in a home where bullying the least fortunate people was accepted.
There is only one difference I can see: He was slightly more fortunate to grow up in a home where working was optional.
It is a place where people only stay in their own circle of friends, meeting in a fancy club, wearing expensive designer clothes worth a month's salary, pretending to be high class, how different from the plebeian, the modern-day patriciate.
It was, boring.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying money doesn't buy happiness. If I weren't this rich, none of my plans would come true.
It's either a lie, or naiveness, or both, when people say that, or believe that. 'Money ALONE cannot buy you happiness' should be the true saying
The recipe for happiness includes freedom, health, family, friends, purpose, and lots of sex.
I am returning to Kenya next week, and based on Mr. K's exceptional value, I think it is safe to say, once I am back by his side, I won't get away easily, not until the baby is born, which is ok, I guess, but I also value my freedoms, so I try to do something more meaningful, while less taxing, such as creating an NGO from the ground up.
It sounds like volunteering is a great idea, and seeing as it's up to me, and since I'm a slut, of course, I would choose something that's a bit fun.
In the last two weeks, I have provided handjobs (and sometimes blowjobs) to disabled patients.
The experience was interesting, rather than fun, and was a good opportunity to help those in need.
Having just entered week 30, I am now feeling the weight of things, mostly my own, but even so, although I won't be there for the child, I still want the best for him. Having a family taking care of me, and mainly for him, would be the best for both of us at this point. I can't avoid going back to Kenya anymore.
