It can last for many years -- menopause is different for every woman. Estrogen replacement therapy might help get her libido back, as well as reducing mood swings, hot flashes and night sweats, but only if she is interested in doing that. If she is, then she should talk with her GP about it. It really can work wonders. I get that her lack of desire is frustrating. Just do your best to support her regardless.

It varies from woman to woman. Less natural lube is generated but you can get her used to the idea that you lube her up in other ways as part of the foreplay.
