I would just like to give a brief update, the checkup results are back, everything looks good, I am fine, the baby is fine, it is week 16, almost week 17, in medical terms, the pregnancy is much more stable, I was worried after the surgery since I kept having a slight shocking feeling under the belly, but it seems to have been just a bit overreacting, the doctor said it is quite normal to have these kinds of slight psychological pains right after the minimally invasive surgery.
Oh, yeah, it's a boy. Mr. K is overjoyed to hear the news, even though he's not able to be with me right now, he already has plans of making another child right after this one. To be honest, I wasn't so sure about that. The goal was to give birth to this baby, get my money, end this marriage of convenience and pleasure, and I don't think I can handle another back-to-back pregnancy.
In regards to my business, I have to say that the new COVID wave somehow worked in my favor, as it provided me with valuable time to finish the lighting and water system, and also allowed me to lower my rent, overall, things seem to be going well, at least for the moment.
In addition, I inform my old boss, Ms. Lane, about my investment plans, and she is more than happy to hear about my return and my plans for expanding to Switzerland. Her plan would be much easier if she had my money, and also, she get a co-owner who knows how the business works and is willing to join in when she can. It must be a great deal for her.
