I am in week 9, in Mr. K's culture, I am officially pregnant now, no idea why this is a thing here, but I will just go for it, for now.
Of course, as many of you with slight medical knowledge would know, the pregnancy is not stable until week 12-16, but Mr. K is really thrilled about it and already sharing the news with all his associates, saying that he will have another son.
It is pretty obvious that it is way too soon to tell, or even if it can make it through 1st trimester, but if he is happy, I am happy too.
All of us agree Kenya is not the place for this baby to be born, not when the pandemic is still running rampage here, I will be leaving back to Europe in the coming days.
Emily isn't that happy about the arrangement, mostly because she suspected I may run off into the sunset and never seem again, I ensure this would never be the case, and besides, the world is too harsh for a white girl like myself to have a black child on her own.
The promised dough between Mr. K and I have arrived at my bank account, to be fair, I wasn't expecting it would be this easy, I assume there will be some delay, excuses, and lies, at least I didn't expect the money would arrive until the birth of this child, maybe I had thought too little of Mr. K.
But now, with this hot new cash on my hand, I am planning on investing in things I know a bit more of, I have some ideas, but none of them concrete yet.
But enough about me, let's do a small update on my friend, May. She is doing well, with her family on her side, she seemed much more... stable. Her pregnancy is in the late 2nd trimester now, she looks so cute with that belly of hers^^. It is a girl.
Sadly her aggressors got off easy, this is why I sometimes hated the juridical system, you are untouchable if you have a strong backstage and this really pisses me off.
Enough of my disgust with the juridical system. What do you think I should use the money on?
