3. Motivations
No matter how much you love a job, there will come a time you just don't want to get up to work, there is no difference in the sex industry.
It is interesting two schools of thought: Work for what you love vs Do not turn your interest into a career.
Turning what you love into a career create a much better motivation, at least at the very first.
But beware it may turn you off when it becomes a daily job, losing the spark.
4.Type and locations.
Needless to say, there are differences between each type.
4.1 Window Prostitution
A unique form of prostitution can be from in the Netherlands and surrounding countries, prostitute hires a window in the red-light district plus operator for a certain period, often a day or half-day. Pay is usually set before service, additional pay for extra.
Renting a window is cheap, sex workers only need between 2 to 3 clients earning to recover the cost.
It provides independence for the girls, you can negotiate your price, nor do you need to pay extra to the pimp( normally*), and if you are working in the legal district, you are protected by the law and other "Coworkers".
4.1.1 Risks
Exposure to the viewing public may not be for everyone liking, your acquaintances can see you.
Notes: While negotiation is on the table, due to the location, your price is limited, customers can easily choose another window. Red Ocean Strategy ( Extreme low price tactics") are also frowned upon.
Basic Price: 20 to 50 Euro.
4.2 Street prostitution
One of the most common forms of prostitution, the street prostitute is often dressed provocatively, solicits customers from a public place, like street( duh"), parks, benches, etc. The service is often performed in the car, nearby the backstreet, behind the dumpster. Fast food service ( low price, fast service*) is the characteristic. In theory, a working girl can get up to 20 customers a single night.
4.2.1. Risks
Street prostitutes are easy prey for serious physical and sexual assaults, muggings, r@ping by clients and pimps. Since in most countries, street prostitution is illegal( although tolerated by some*), they are not protected by law enforcement. Not recommended.
Notes: There is a saying, " 10 street whores, 9 junkies." Most people avoid street girls, which results in lowering the chance of work.
Basic price: Hard to define due to different location, but certainly low.
4.3 Brothel
FKK Club, Soaplands, Pink salon, Blowjob bar, Whorehouse, Brothel, bordellos, casas, spas, ranches, cathouses... thousands of names from thousands of places, but the basic is the same, a place to engage in sexual activity with a prostitute.
Some brothels are regulated by authorities. Licensed brothels are legal and regulated, working in those guarantee protection, safety, regulated healthcare, reasonable working hours, and condition.
Illegal brothels may be tolerated, the laws often ignore those places or simply being paid off " Look the other way", they are considered to be less problematic than street prostitution.
No matter you are choosing to work in a legal brothel or not, there will be restrictions, from your managers, your pimps, the government, your salary is somewhat fixed, big or small, there will always be a fee you need to pay for.
Since Brothels vary in size and style, their operation also has a variety of business models:
Contract model: split their earnings with the brothel.
Full employees: fixed salary plus a percentage from customer paid.
Renting: the prostitutes pay a fee for use of the facilities, just rent a room.
4.3.1 Risks
Safer does not equal total safety, there are cases that brothels being attacked by a rival gang, raided by the laws.
Notes: Licensed brothels do not stop illegal brothels from existing, illegal brothels in Sydney now outnumber licensed operations by four to one. And only 10% of prostitution happens in licensed brothels.
4.4 High-class gentlemen club
Since I was working in one, I have deeper insight, first-handed information I able to share. ( Different clubs may vary in business model and style, I am just sharing the one I know")
4.4.1 Business style and characteristic
Some of these gentlemen's clubs do not open publicly and only provide service for regular and their friends, they are aiming for more than just mere sex, "Luxurious experience" is the real game. Providing the highest class of girls to the highest class of customers, bankers, CEOs, legal arms dealers, TV/movies celebrities, politicians, high ranking government officials just to name a few.
Due to the unique nature of most of these customers, privacy is of the utmost.
4.4.2. Getting in
Getting work into such a high-class club isn't easy, many do not publicly hire, you most likely need an invitation, from someone who is working inside.
Beauty is the bare minimum requirement and can not even be considered as your admission ticket, many girls with a face of an angel already working there, standing out need more than just a pretty face, learn how to market yourself, provide experience others can't, "the Girlfriend experience", "BDSM" etc.
4.4.3 Pay
Of course, it depends on what services and customers you are providing, but it is high, to say the least.
I once made a year's worth of salary in just 2 days. There are some very generous customers waiting, and they are more than willing to shower you with gifts just to show their affection, it is up to you to find them, and turn those into yours.
