Preface
The following essay is aiming to shine some light on the industry of sex workers. Since all the information is based on the author's personal experience, it cannot and should not be considered as a full reflection of the entire sex industry.
It should be obvious, following essay is not a promotion or an advertisement of whore or brothel.
Introduction
So, you want to be a hooker, maybe you need financial aid, or you are just a slut, here are things you should know before hands. This is not a guide encouraging you to be a sex worker but for you to reevaluate your decision.
Due to length, the essay will separate into multiple parts.
1.Alternative options
Before you take the initiative, think about other options. Are there any alternative ways for you to get what you want? Moreover, is what you want is what you genuinely need? I have seen too many young girls, (yes, girls, not even legal adults yet), take part as part-time callgirl, or "Part-time Girlfriend", just because they want a cute new designer handbag they brag about at school.
I am in no position to lecture anyone, but you need to understand certain matters do not have a redo button, no easy way out. Internet is an effective tool, best for finding customers, but you cannot erase anything once you are online, what is done is done.
2.Protection
Callgirl, hooker, prostitute, Part-time girlfriend, whatever name you give yourself, you are in a compromising position. Sex workers are often the serial killer's victims of choice. The famous Jack the Ripper, Rain-night Murderer, The Icecream man, Long Island Killer, all target sex workers as prey. Police negligence added to the unique working condition, providing the perfect crime of opportunity.
Others may also take advantage and prey on sex workers, r@pe, rob, blackmail, extortion. There are bad people in the world who will do things you can't even imagine, and you provide the perfect opportunity and target.
Think about all these before you decide if being a whore is really worth you risk all these. Always protect yourself.
2.1 Legal protection.
First of all, you must be at legal age, 18, or whatever age your country legally required. Many girls like to lie and said they are already 18, do not do that. It is more than just do not break the law, it is a promise.
It proves that you can think for yourself, your action is your own, Your clients would not be charged any serious crime if you two get busted. It may sound odd, but protect not just yourself, but your customers too. Most of the Johns were here to release their sexual tension, and should not be punished due to your lies.
It also protects yourself, if something happens, you can call the police without telling your mum, you have the bargaining power to stop any action you disagree with. (Back off, or I call the cops*) Obviously, it would not stop everyone, there is a thing call r@pe after all, but at least you have some limited protection.
2.2Legal work/ don't break the law
Law enforcement all over the world often neglect "low life", in their eyes, that is who you are. Law enforcement ignores sex workers crying for help are not unheard of, there are even report of policemen being the ones who extorting and r@ping sex workers. Remember, law enforcer is a profession, not a saint.
Do not give them an excuse by not being a criminal, start by working legally, some countries legalize sex work; Germany, Netherland, New Zealand, Australia, Austria, just to name a few. If that is your case, work under legal work is your best bet of getting the good side of the law, which in return providing more protection.
Since Prostitution is referred to as the world's oldest profession, many other countries keep a blind eye in terms of laws. Try to find a loophole, countries have "Limitedly legal" and only criminalize when sexual acts are purchased, but not when sold. Fun fact about the law, you can do whatever you want, as long as the law didn't say you can't.
2.3 NGOs
There are NGOs for sex workers, aiming to provide aid to "Those men & women of the streets" organizations like SWAN, NSWP, fighting for the right of the ladies of the evening; others like TAMPEP, Red Umbrella Fund, and ICPR, aiming to provide a safer, protected working condition for the girls, do not underestimate their role in the sex trading world.
From simply providing condoms, supporting and organizing free STD checkups in legal sexual health centers, some even provide a "Blacklist" on Johns who are being naughty, Apps providing information from other coworkers: places you should avoid, Johns you should not serve.
They provide valuable resources to all sex workers, and should not be disregard.
2.4 Other Security
There are other ways to find protection, legal brothel is a good start, with bouncers and managers, it is much safer than a street whore.
It would not be a full essay if I did not mention pimp, but lets it be clear, I do not recommend finding one. They do provide some protection, but in most countries pimping is illegal.
Beware they may become the problem instead of the solution, they are the ones who take advantage of sex workers, underpay, overwork, beating, r@pe, countless cases of pimp violence toward their girls. As a law student, these case studies kept me up at night; Girls malnutrition due to underpaying, being beaten half to death, r@pe until they broke, it is not a fate anyone should have.
