Birth update
|
|
Finally William is out, just as we thought, he came out a bit early, week 38, it counts as an early term, but still a full term.
Here is the full labor update, I actually miss the whole early labor I am not saying it didn't happen, the baby isn't just teleport out from my womb to my hands, I am saying that I ignore the first stage, come think of it, it should started at night, I got a rough night that night, I can't sleep well, the contractions feel like a very tight waistband, uncomfortable, sure, but still not painful enough to alarm me.
The whole morning, I am still walking around in my room, going to the greenhouse garden, coming back, taking a long bath and watching some Netflix. At about 11-12 pm, I still to feel the pain, the tightness is getting intense, it was the beginning the active labor, surprising, it isn't really unbearable to me, again each pregnancy, each labor is difference, I think I am lucky, for I have many things in mind that make the pain less intense. I was actually wondering should I call the nurses? Or should I go to the bathroom first?
The healthcare center really helped, I mean really, I did not have any worry about the labor the whole time, I just caught off guard, although the doctor said the baby may come early, I didn't think it would be early as just a day later.
In the end, I decided to call the nurse, and they said, how the hell can you stay silent and calm for so long, you are already into active labor, later active labor.
The birth soon followed, it took about 1.5 hours, it hurt, but not as painful as I thought from all those videos, it was natural birth, William finally came out at about 4, he is black "duh", heavy, 4 kg boy, healthy.
The parents are taking care of him now, I can get some much needed rest ^^.
I am planning on staying in this " Wellness Retreat" for a bit longer, for a faster recovery. After that, we shall see.
