This is usually such a busy time, this year not so much with the pandemic... Normally I'd  be busy baking cakes and mince pies for the church fundraiser... Helping out at the school, making costumes for the Christmas production... Organising and collecting food donations at the  village hall for homeless charities etc.. The list sometimes seems endless but so worth the effort.. It would be easier to make a financial contribution.. But I feel its means more if you give  your time and self to worthwhile causes..

You can imagine my amusement  when wrapping gifts the other evening whilst my hubby was watching sport on the television.. A very worthwhile and charitable thought popped into my head ... Before the game started I noticed that the players all knelt on one knee.. Not sure as to why I asked my husband ,who informed me it was a show of support for 'Black Lives Matter'... I immediately imagined myself down on both knees in front of the black players giving them my full support... A very worthwhile cause to indeed..

The  thought must have made me smile as he asked me why I was smiling.. I answered, ''Oh nothing dear you enjoy your game'' ..
