I read a LOT, and I came across an account in an ancient text recently that really caught my attention, so much so that I haven't been able to get it out of my mind ever since. Here is an excerpt:
35 And Lilith asked, "What hath put you in such way, my lord, to cause a prophet as mighty as thee to tremble and shake so at the sight of a madame such as I? What hath laid you so low and made you so weak?"
36 But the First spake not, so consumed was He then at the wanting of her, for so close was her flesh that the Lust screamed in him, and did cloud his mind; and He didst look away in His shame.
37 Then it was Lilith raised Him up, and setting His hands upon her, spake with breath hot on His neck.
38 "What ye name virtue, I call weakness, for ye Lust heartily, but have not strength nor courage enough to slake it; if thou canst not take what ye want, then ye shall ne'er command it."
39 Then did Lilith turn away, with mock of Him; and this the First knew as counsel to be praised, and so was writ the Second Lesson of Blood.
40 So it was He took her there, until her laughter turned to all manner of cries and moaning, and both were changed, and stronger for it.
The Second Book of Blood, ch. 40, v. 35-40.
