So what's the harm with fantasy about cheating on your spouse, bf, or significant other?? It's just fantasy right? It's a lot like thinking of someone else when you're having sex or giving/receving oral sex....what's wrong with that?

Think with me.
What is needed for this?
If you are taken by force against your will, we all agree that it was not cheating. Right? So it may seem that intention is needed in conjunction with action. But let's consider that the physical act was not consummated because, despite the proposal, the desired lover was not interested. In that case I still think the cheating has been accomplished. Let's consider one more scenario. When the desire exists but it is repressed in the name of fidelity to the partner. In this case, fidelity is synonymous with repression and suffering. Is this what we want for our loved ones? After all this I come to the conclusion that cheating happens in our minds regardless of our will, and fidelity is just an act of self-mutilation offered on the altar of relationship.

Thanks for thoughts! Especially how desires, sex and love are all 3 separate...and can be fulfilled by 3 different people....I had not thought of it that way before!

Nothing wrong at all. Infact, I even believe desires, sex and love are, or can be, three entirely differnt things and don't always need to to appear in one person alone. :-)

I see nothing wrong with it. It's a kink like most others, and so long as you don't indulge IRL or if you do with a SO's consent (cuckolding is a thing and some people enjoy it) it's not hurting anyone. You do you, boo.
*my testimony should be taken with a grain of salt given the fact your fantasies get me off. lol
