Making captions

Anybody have any good ways to start making my own captions without access to photoshop? I'd like to use Gimp but I don't have a lot of experience with it so a good tutorial video would be awesome too!

pretty often. don't even need to download anything and it has many helpful features as well as a ton of fonts

you just need the text box instructions. a google gimp text box and you'll find a ton of tutorials. it should be easy from there but PM me if you have a question or need a spank to encourage you to start uploading those caps ;)
