Back in in 1962 I invented Captions (putting words on pictures).
Reproduced here, in full colour, is my love story “Mary & Sam”.
I went by the name of Sam in those days because I was one hip cat down with the groove and no square – by any means
Then, as now, my poetry was sublime.

a musical instrument consisting of a flat wooden soundbox with numerous strings stretched across it, placed horizontally and played with the fingers and a plectrum. It is used especially in central European folk music. sorry, that's a xylophone
