I spent the last few weeks in Colorado, most recently in Colorado Springs. I left Colorado Springs on Interstate 25 heading south, and then west on Interstate 40 to the Flagstaff Arizona area. I made the move in two days, which is quicker than I like moving the roughly seven hundred miles. The reason for traveling so many miles quickly was to attend a meeting.

I had communicated with a person for a few months, and she felt it was time to meet. I travel in the RV and don’t own a car. When I need to get around I either rent a car, take a cab, Uber or Lft. In this case I decided to rent a car and explore the area. My quick move offered me a chance to checkout the meeting location and area. She had selected a coffee shop for our meeting, which turned out to be a mom and pop shop. The place looked nice and seemed to have a yuppie clientele. The neighborhood looked good, and so I drove the roughly thirty miles back to where the RV was parked. I never park the RV near a first, or second meeting for the matter.

The following afternoon I arrived about 15 minutes early for the meeting. I spotted the person I was to meet just sitting down with an ice tea. With my back to her at the counter, I grabbed an ice tea and went over to the table. She didn’t lie; she was a cutie and looking very much like her picture. We spent about and hour talking and decided another meeting would be in order. We arranged to meet for dinner at 6PM that night. Leaving the coffee shop I drove past the dinner location on my way to the RV. It looked like a very nice steak house and checked the reviews back at the RV. Four and a half stars with over one hundred reviews is a good thing.

Dinner was great and the conversation was even better. I felt things were going very well, and were until deserts and coffees. As it turns out, she had kids, which she didn’t bother to tell me about. I have no problems with a female having kids, but that is something that needs to be disclosed up front. The RV will sleep six, but has only one bedroom. The couch and dinning table each make out into beds as needed. The other little detail she forgot to share was her children were girls of 14 and 16. She figured it would be no problem at all to have her two none legal daughters traveling with us. Should things not go however she had planned, it would be three to one in a court of law.

No thank you. It’s a lovely area here, and will enjoy taking time to explore the area.
