10/05/2006 - Payout ratio changes
Today we implemented our long awaited new payout system. The aim of this system is to
reward our active uploaders who keep sending us visitors day in and out.<BR>
Over the past few months we've had many uploaders abuse our system by uploading hundreds
of galleries a day and relying on imagefap's internal traffic for their income. This in return
lead to a significant decrease in our payout ratios harming our active uploaders.<BR>
Imagefap's new payout system no longer credits imageviews coming from other people's galleries
or visitors browsing directly to imagefap.com. Imageviews brought in through external sites
will be paid out, and this can mean an increase in daily revenue between 20% to 50% for
our active uploaders.<BR>
Once you bring in a visitor from an external site you will be accredited for ALL his imageviews
in all your galleries, not just the gallery you're linking.<BR>
Those uploaders who are negatively affected by this change are advised to start promoting
their galleries on the many forums out there to start benefiting from the increased payouts!<BR>
