Sue Bond is an English actress, comedian and cabaret singer, best remembered for her appearances on "The Benny Hill Show" in the early 1970s.
Not much of her life and career is known. She was born May 9, 1945 in Aylesbury, England, starting her film career in the soft-core films of George Harrison Marks in the late 1960s. She was also an extra in "Anne of the Thousand Days" in 1969 and had a brief appearance in Lindsay Shonteff's film, "The Bullet Machine" in 1970 where she was credited as "Suzy Bond."
Sue appeared in The Benny Hill Show for three years between 1970 and 1973, making her one of the longest serving female cast members of the pre-Hill's Angels era. After leaving the series, Sue began to get offered more character roles in British sitcoms and movies. Alongside of her acting, Bond had a second career as a singer on the Northern Club Circuit. Her last acting credit to date was in the short-lived revival of "Mind Your Language" in 1986. She was still performing on the cabaret circuit into the early 1990s.
