Les cages d'escalier en Russie et, en général, dans les pays de l'Est qui étaient dominés par l'Union soviétique. ont un air délabré et glauque. Les escaliers sont faits en mauvais béton, ébréchés souvent. Les murs sont peints grossièrement en couleurs vertes, bleu, grise ou marron. C'est moche, c'est froid et, souvent, ça pue. Mais on y fait des rencontres. L'usage, on le voit ici, est d'y photographier les salopes ou les putes que l'on va baiser. L'exhibionisme de l'escalier !
