Being the youngest of three sisters, she had also proved to be the brightest, and while her nsisters only had thought of bekomming married and have familes, Amanda had studied hard at school and nat the university, and had now in the age of 25 just been employed as a journalist nby a large London newspaper. She was a very ambitious young woman, and did not want to waste years ndoing minor articles, before being promoted.
