Anna Alexandrovna Jimskaya (born on January 22, 1979 in Tashkent, USSR [now Uzbekistan]) is is an Uzbek actress, sometimes credited with Anna Jimskaya. She was born in Uzbekistan, to a Ukrainian mother and a Russian father, she began working very young in the world of the circus as an acrobat, putting her athlete’s ability to use: during childhood, in fact, Anna Imskaya practices artistic gymnastics. At the age of thirteen she discovered the dance she studied with passion until she entered a prestigious ballet company. Anna then dedicated herself to the theatre. At the age of eighteen she began working as a model, parading in various parts of the world. At the end of the nineties she moved to Italy, where she worked as a photomodel in Milan and studied acting. Her first Italian theatrical experience was in 1999, when she starred in the comedy Arlecchino servant of two masters, directed by Roberto Totola. In 2002 she shot her first videoclip in Italy by Neffa, Quando ends like this ; other music videos followed for Danzel (Pump It Up!), Piotta and Caparezza (Too forward) and Max Pezzali (Retornerò). She graduated from the Accademia of Music Art and Show in Milan, and in 2004 she moved to Rome, where swas chosen by Tinto Brass as the protagonist of Monamour (2005), a film in which she starred naked. In 2006 she starred in Rosella Drudi’s film Nemici per la Pelle. She got the part of Viktoria in the TV miniseries Il segreto di Arianna broadcast in March 2007 on Rai 1. Between 2007 and 2009 she starred in the theater in Men at the final crisis of Pino Ammendola, and in the musical comedy Te lo io Pasquino, directed by Walter Croce and Prospero Richelmy.
