Emily Jean Stone (born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA) is an American actress and producer. She is the recipient of various accolades, including an Academy Award, two British Academy Film Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. In 2017, she was the world's highest-paid actress and named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She had her TV breakthrough when she won the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004) which led to a number of small TV roles in the following years. Her movie debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and, after a string of successful performances, her leading role as Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a star. Stone began her acting career with a role in a theater production of The Wind in the Willows in 2000. She won the Young Hollywood Award for Exciting New Face for her debut film—the teen comedy Superbad (2007), which had her play a high school student. For the horror comedy film Zombieland, she received a nomination for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress – Comedy, and garnered a Best Ensemble award and Best Horror Actress nomination at the 2010 Scream Awards.
