Gabriela Canudas (born 11th Nov 1969 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban-Mexican theatre, television and film actress. She was born in Havana, Cuba, to a Mexican father and a Cuban mother; from the port of Veracruz she moved to Xalapa to study high school and then left for the United States, where in a theater workshop she discovered the performance. She returned to study at the Faculty of Theatre of the Veracruzana University, and later entered the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of UNAM, to study dramatic literature and performance. She debuted with a stellar in The Miracle Alley, a role that took her to Hollywood. she has done university theatre, participated in feature films such as Gertrudis Bocanegra, Ave María and As chocolate water, in some shorts, and had incursions into soap operas such as Too Love and What Love Is. She won the award for best actress at the Huelva International Film Festival, Spain for her character in Otilia Rauda a film directed by Dana Rotberg. Gabriela Canudas is known for Otilia Rauda (2001), Demasiado amor (2001), The Bridge (TV Seriesn2013–2014) and Villa, itinerario de una pasión (2014).
