Maja Kovač (born on December 4, 1978 in Zagreb, Croatia) is Croatian-born actress, voice actress, contemporary dancer and drama teacher in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1997, she graduated from the 10th high school and the Ana Maletić School of Contemporary Dance. In 2005, she graduated from the Teacher's Academy, majoring in Preschool Education.In 2010, she completed two semesters at FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) International Academy year 2009/2010 in Prague, Czech Republic, majoring in Film Directing. Last 19 years she’s performing in drama and dancing productions in Croatian professional and independent theatres where she shaped and create more than 40 roles. Since 2001, she has been working as a professional actress and dancer, choreographer and drama teacher. Since 2008, he has been making independent films. Since 2010, she has been a member of the Red Nose Doctor Clown, and she is studying at the International School of Humor in Vienna, Austria. In her artistic work she used both movement and speech as equals in order to make her inner organic happening, which is invisible in their essence, visible via performing on stage. During this years she’s educating herself in other artistic fields like mime, clowning, film directing and vertical dance. She is an actress, known for Bore Lee: U kandzama velegrada (2003), Bore Lee: Cuvaj se sinjske ruke! (2004), Love Birds (short, 2010), Vecernja skola (TV Series) and Po tamburi (2021).
