Dandara de Morais (born on April 25, 1990 in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil) is Brazilian actress, dancer and film filmmaker. She is an actress and director, known for August Winds (2014), Açúcar (2017) and As Vezes que Não Estou Lá (2020). . She began her career in cinema as actress in feature "August Winds". She had leading roles in Brazilian productions such as "Sugar", "Superpina", "The Friendly Man", "The Last Yard" and "How many were you to?". Found as herself storyteller started and writing, acting and directing her own movies. Dandara place as objects-character from a desire to share her her own experiences and an urgent need to recreate the representation of bodies with melanin in audiovisual works.
