Tanga Moreau (born 1978 in Brussels, Belgium) is a Belgian model. She has appeared on the cover of Vogue Paris and in the 1998 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has done extensive print and runway work for many leading fashion companies, especially in the late 1990s. Now living in Spain and mother of two, Tanga Moreau has made a return to modelling after a 10-year break from the business. Tanga Moreau, was first scouted at the age of 16 by a photographer on the street in Brussels where she grew up. She was reluctant at first, as was her mother, but eventually she agreed to join an agency and go to London. Her first shoot was a Moschino campaign shot by Craig McDean. She went on to work with renowned photographers including Steven Meisel, Mario Testino and Bruce Weber before landing one of the highest paid exclusive contracts of all time, a five-year contract with Ralph Lauren. At 23 she stopped modelling to have a family and has only recently returned to the industry. She now lives in Spain with her husband, a sculptor and musician, and her two children.
