Shari Solanis (born December 13, 1977 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) is American actress known for Now and Later (2011) and Action Reaction (2009). She is Graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC and Graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. Shari lived in a Jewish neighborhood with her mother and stepfather. Her father is a Vietnam veteran with whom she remained close as well. From an early age Shari fell in love with the arts in general and song in particular. At 12, she joined a girls' choir. Later, as a teenager, she discovered a passion for acting and graduated from Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating from Philadelphia High School, Shari moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In collaboration with the New York Theater Workshop, Shari stars as Alissa Cruz in a musical titled "Mister" with Anthony Rapp. Thereafter, Shari remained in the theatrical circuit while making a few appearances on television and in cinema. Shari moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dream as an actress and singer. After several auditions in front of Hollywood casting directors for stereotypical roles, Shari was selected to play Angela in Philippe Diaz's 2007 film Now and Later. It should come as no surprise, then, that this pedigreed performer grabbed the lead on her first try at the film game, taking charge in the gripping indie Now and Later (2009).
