I’d had the biggest crush on Lindsay all through high school, but never acted upon it. Then, after graduation, we lost touch with one another. For 10 years I wondered about her, and what might have been. I thought I’d never see her again…until recently. She moved back to our home town last year, and we met up when she joined my BJJ gym. I had just started training, and was a new yellow belt. Lindsay had been been practicing a year longer, and was a green belt. We quickly became friends, again, and sparring partners.
