This was not because I was particularly interested in becoming a rope bondage master but rather because I found that this particular style of bondage and the way that it is photographed has a certain elegance and class to it. There is a way that the ropes form symmetrical designs either on top of the models outfit or on top of her bare skin that has a fascinating visual appeal. I wouldn't mind learning a few basic ties and designs and designs with rope but when Shibari is taken to it's highest level, it can take a while just to get to design completed with the rope before moving on to whatever else is on the agenda. Most people don't have that much patience.
