Saïda Jawad (born November 13, 1973 in Roubaix, France) is a French actress, screenwriter and playwright of Moroccan origins. Born in Roubaix to Moroccan parents, she studied accordion for ten years but her passion is theatre1. She follows the courses of the conservatory of Roubaix. She began by playing Antigone at the Théâtre 80 in Amiens, followed by a two-year tour throughout France before settling in Paris. It was in Paris that she began her career in front of the cameras. Jean-Pierre Améris gives him his first film role in C'est la vie alongside Jacques Dutronc and Sandrine Bonnaire. This film was awarded at the Luchon Festival in 2012 and presented the same year at the Angoulême Film Festival. It aired on November 17, 2012 and got a PDM score of 13.6 or 3.3 million viewers. Super Lola is her second television writing. A unit for France 2, produced by My neighbor productions (Dominique Besnehard) and Romarin Films (Saïda Jawad), in which she plays the main role (Lola Fazière). This film is selected at the 2013 Luchon festival. She was in relations with fellow actors Gérard Jugnot from 2003 to April 2014, and Jean-Luc Mélenchon in years 2015-2016.
