    I've a liking for CD/TV

No, not selection buttons on a media centre, but cross-dressers and transvestites.

I've liked quite a few on here as they interest me, how they adopt the feminine role and desire things they would probably not want as a male. Not all, but quite a lot on here seem to be looking for sex. I'm not looking to meet anyone but happy to chat with most I guess.

If there is one thing I have picked up on it's that crossdressers tend to wear quite heavy makeup, too much really. Is this part of the image, or over-compensating? Compare pictures with real women, look at our subtle use of makeup and perhaps tone it down a bit?

There's fantasy and reality. Fantasy is that micro mini skirt and see-through blouse, but I'm happier looking at a well-dressed and presented girl.  I like to imagine that they are wearing stockings under their sensible skirt rather than have it all on display :-)

Such a pity that many profiles don't have pictures, and the ones that do have a profile pic don't have any pics of the person. If I like what I see then I'll probably become a fan.

I've met and worked with a large number of trans people when I did some work for a group, oh years ago now. I got to know the many 'types', although I hate giving labels, from someone who has worn his wife's undies a couple of times through to those who have transisioned into a female totally.
There are a lot of people use the role as a fetish thing, they dress up to have sex and that can be with either male or female partners, a lot of diversity. The ones I can accept the most are those who were 'born this way', they have had the inner self throughout their life and perhaps do not show it much as someone seeking attention by dressing up.
It's difficult to try and accept some people who claim to be trans as they simply don't have the life experience of feeling that way. They may have seen a trans person and wanted to copy that because it made them feel good, which is fine in it's own way.
I think the best line I ever heard, and really convinced me that the person saying it was 'genuine', was "I don't wear womens clothes, they are my clothes".
I would love to see a world where that was accepted without exception. After all, girls who wear jeans and t-shirts get away with that and nobody gives them a second glance. Why shouldn't a male have the opportunity to wear a skirt or dress if that's how they feel comfortable ?
Skimpy clothing isn't the answer, heavy make-up isn't either. The more natural look is the way to go. Look around, see what real women are wearing, and I don't mean on porn sites. By all means have something skimpy for use behind closed doors but for those who want to be accepted, don't stand out in a crowd :-)

Yeah I understand, I don't really like the fact most cd/tvs' are just hear to have sex and they want to dress up in skimpy clothing. I initially though when I signed up, that there would be a lot of cd/tvs' that were just going to share their ever day appropriate experience of being feminine other than just talk about sex. I for prefer to be well dressed.
