IFAP Interface Suggestions Day 3
|
I spend quite a bit of time going through members' curated favorites, but it can be a frustrating experience at times...
Change #5: Either separate folders that contain Galleries and Pictures in the Favorites Tab/Interface or make it readily apparently in the Overview list on the left, which are which. This will save a huge amount of time, as I'm generally interested in Pics (how did this contributor curate his/her selections w/in the given subject?) and not galleries. If I want to go through galleries, it's generally easier to just do a search (although they are exceptions).

Another one I'm in big favour for. Most of my folders are pic folders where I put what the content of the folder contains and then the letter 'P' in brackets after. This lets people know it's a pic folder. I have a few gallery folders with the letter 'G' in brackets to differentiate between the two.
I'm also a huge fan of pic folders, it nails down what the person likes. Gallery folders and more general. The person might only like a few pictures out of the 50 odd there and you can't know what those are. It takes a bit more time organising, but well worth it.
