I wonder why Admin have not announced it? I keep getting verification codes that I have not asked for. Truly bizarre.

I will announce it when I feel the time is right. For now you must verify who you are with the email on your account which MUST be correct and you have access to it.

If not, then you are not going to be able to upload.

The site rules have always been your email must be correct. If not then nobody can help you.

No problem longhairfish - it is just the site has tended to announce significant changes upfront. And you must be aware that the message you get when you try to upload is ambiguous. Device not seen for a some time? If I open another browser (say Opera) and try to upload, I will get the message about the "device" even when (and get this) I am currently uploading on my "device" with another browser. I quickly worked out that I needed to update my email address (for those you are un-sure, you can change it on your profile.) Takes seconds.

My email was in need of reviving, but that's done successfully and the verification codes are not showing up, which seems to be an issue for many. Guess I'll try again next week and hope stuff is sorted.

I may have a possible solution that is worth a try if you are still having problems with uploading.
I changed my Microsoft imagefap access email to a new provider (in my case proton.com) and everything worked fine.
I am now uploading as normal.

Thank you! That did the trick for me as well (also with a proton account). Yahoo used to be okay for junk accounts, but the enshittification creep continues on.

The message says a verification code is needed because of my inactivity "for some time", yet I uploaded two days ago. I've requested the verification code three times to the correct mail box, but nothing comes through. I'm not sure what to do next. Help and suggestions welcome.

As it was told to me by the IT guys, if you upload today (the 5th of July) then you won't be asked again until the 5th of August.

If you are a frequent uploader, say every week, that 30 day time frame will start over. So we will have users who upload almost every other day and never again will see the verification notice.

And as always, cookies are essential. That's what cookies are for. The site will remember you. If your browser does not accept cookies then you will have to verify every time you upload.

I understand the need for security and verification, but this should be a fixable issue, especially for frequent uploaders. We're one of the primary reasons people come to this site, after all.

No. If you post today, then post tomorrow you don't need to verify. You have 30 days to post or you will verify again.

But I can't post because I keep getting the verification page that says it's sent a code to my email. Yet there's no code in my email. No response to "Email is lost. Request a new one?" No response to "Contact us" or sending a direct email to Support, either. I even tried it under a VPN.

What is more frustrating about this is that I post nearly every day, and posted for a week before I got this notification that "we haven't seen you on this device in a while."

I understand that it's just "computers being computers." GIGO, man. But please fix this screen.

My issue with the new verification system is this. I want to upload pictures> the system asked me for a verification code sent my email (which is valid). However as I have to use a VPN to get on this site due to privacy invasion by the UK government, I can't sign into my email if my VPN is running as me email thinks it's an attack. I have been locked out of my own email because of this.
So what’s the solution please. Over to you Longhairfish
