A Subscription Option?

I was just curious if you ever considered creating a subscription option for the site. Subscribers could have no ads or limited ads, and premier content for them only.
Just a thought.

I've asked this question before. Ideally it would include a reliable bulk that works and better blocking features.

We have batted this idea around a few times. What it comes down to are a few things.

Doing so would not make more people join the site.

Doing so would mean that we have to set up a billing process. Then we "might" have to add an employee to watch over the billing process. Credit card fraud, people losing access to their app, lost passwords and so on.

In the end it just isn't worth the time.
