A new chat is coming soon!

It's been some time since we switched versions of our chat. The current chat MatterMost has served its purpose for around 3 years or so. MatterMost isn't designed for chat rooms as large as ours. If we were to continue using MatterMost we would have to cough up a considerable amount of money (in the 10's of thousands of dollars) to keep things running smoothly.

I can't put a specific date as to when the new chat will be fired up. I can tell you, it will be good. We are testing it now and I think we are ready to go. Just another week or less of testing to do.

The semi bad news. Nothing you have saved in the current chat will be moved to the new chat. It is totally impossible.

If it is important to you, you need to save the names of users who you talk to a lot. Or even save the chats you have done. That would be as easy as copy and paste into your text editor.

Mobile app? Probably. We haven't tested that as much just yet. I am not seeing a problem though. The new chat is fairly popular. So an app is most likely in an app store. How that will need to be configured is up in the air at the moment. Once the new chat is solid and no issues I will give more details how to use the app.
