Count me out of your observation, please and thank you.
I actually removed a captioned pic from my Captioned Pics gallery which I'd spent some hours in Photoshop working up, specifically because I thought it was potentially racist in message, theme or character. Having been one of the pics chosen at random by the gallery software, it had already had a thumbnail made of it which was included in the five preview thumbnails for that gallery. On the better browsers (don't know about IE), this shows up as a broken link now, but even in Firefox I've seen such thumbs suddenly re-appear. The links are bad, and from my POV, it's one of the things you don't want in any of your galleries. I decided keeping derisive, divisive content away from the masses took precedence over any aesthetic or Netiquette-correct considerations.
