Why is only Emma Watson banned?

Yeah I don't get it either. She's an adult in her 30s.I can completely understand not allowing images of her when she was underage. That makes perfect sense. But her in her 20 and 30s It certainly bizarre. But continuing to make non sensical rules which im sure there will be more to come will only result in more users leaving. It first started with them banning use of the R word. Almost all image boards go through this cycle. They are great an go on the rise. Then eventually you get a bunch of left wing moderators who over police their users. An the site dies. Its just the way of things.

The whole thing could have well been started by hundreds of sexual Emma Watson deepfakes ads ran on facebook and instagram, hundreds of videos that showed Watson and Johansson in sexually suggestive and provocative situations ran across Meta platforms as part of an ad campaign for an AI app that creates deepfakes videos called FaceMega. More than 230 video ads on Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger in just two days. And this was in early march this year.

I'm only making a guess here, but rather than a "nonsensical rule by the site" this may be enforced by Emma Watson herself, or her agent(s).

For all we know she's the most faked celebrity, thanks to kids growing up with dreams of her for many years. She may be sick of it, or may want to stop it to some extent. It's impossible of course, but she's in a position (both as a celebrity and financially) to make a move against porn sites like imagefap.

Personally I can't stand her, or the whole Harry Potter thing. But that's my personal view. Not everybody enjoys the idea of millions of people jerking to thousands of variations of your photos.

Speaking as a faker who has run into this issue on sites in the past, MY EDUCATED GUESS is that it boils down to something like this:

1) Emma Watson is now an adult. But she was not always. She was once a child star.

2) There are many pictures of Emma Watson. Some of those pictures are of adult Emma Watson. Some of those pictures are of under-18 emma watson.

3) If you create a fake of Emma Watson using adult Emma Watson, then that's not a problem. But if you create a fake of Emma Watson using under-18 emma watson, that is a problem.

4) It is specifically a problem for people who own and operate websites that might host these fakes, because some fakers are idiots and will upload pictures of under-18 Emma Watson, which is not a legal thing to do.

5) What happens next is the owner of the website deletes or removes those images. Then the person who uploads them cries and says BUT EMMA WATSON IS AN ADULT WHY ARE YOU OPPRESSING ME when they know full well that the fake they uploaded was not of the adult emma watson.

6) Then the owner of the website deletes another image of this type and the uploader says SHE WASN'T UNDER 18. THIS IMAGE IS ACTUALLY FROM THE VERY DAY SHE TURNED 18. THE MODS ARE A JOKE.

7) At this point, if you are the admin of the website, and people are doing this constantly, you have to ask yourself: Do I really want to verify that the version of emma used in each and every uploaded fake is a legal emma? That sounds like a pain in the ass. If these people are going to not read the rules or just be constantly too stupid to understand why they can't upload those images, then I'm just not going to allow them to do that.

TLDR: Non-stop idiots ruin it for everyone. As is so often the case.
