GIF's in gallery list are playing automatically

Hello,
while viewing beta.imagefap.com on my tablet, the list of gif galleries on page used to show the playable pictures stationary with the ' |> ' watermark on them (when searching for galleries) and when you clicked on that gallery and then the picture, then the gif would play. That was very convenient and fast way of looking for new gif galleries. However since last 2 weeks or so ALL gifs are now playing automatically, even when searching for them (the whole list view plays, not actually clicking on that particular gallery). This causes the lsit of galleries load very slowly (since it has to load each gif separately) and takes a very long time to even load a single list of galleries. I looked in the settings and couldn't find a way how to turn this "feature" off. Any suggestions?
