As of today I can safely say that moviefap is back in action. During the down time improvements were:

1. A better looking and more user friendly uploading page.
2. The addition of more movie types. Accepted file extensions are .mpg, mpeg, avi, wmv, and mp4. We used to accept .mov videos but we had too many people with problems with this file type. Other file types we also tried but those failed.
3. Faster approval of your videos. We manually edit / approve each video. The wait time should be much less than it used to be.

If you have a video to upload and it doesn't meet the formats listed above, you can try using this site : https://www.online-convert.com

I used them a few times. I am not sure of the limits. But give it a shot if you don't feel like installing video conversion software.

So as the topic says, if you have any moviefap issues ask them here. Myself or someone else will try to give you a hand.

when I try to log in to MF I get the message "Sorry, your username and password are not correct. "

When I try to use the signup I am directed to the IF signup.

Seems to be a problem with my profile I guess.

Usually when we see this problem it is because of a name change on imagefap.

I looked you up by your user name and by your email address on moviefap. I am not getting any matches.

So - did you ever change your name on imagefap?

The Nickname can't be changed at all. So You mean First Name and Last Name? No I didn't ever insert a name into those fields. But there must be some weirdness with the data right from the beginning. As I already asked in September (just after my registration) the counter of my "images viewed" does not work either. Guess that's the reason why my "History" doesn't work too.

Videos are still not showing up.
Last 3 are listed on my page, saying 'video conversion in process.'
Uploaded clips, nothing happens when I click the 'save' button, page doesn't advance, but title bar says 'upload completed.'
Tried mpeg, mp3, mp4, avi and .mov formats...

Hi gmmmb,

Your problem might be the first we have seen. For now, make sure you have all your ad blocking stuff disabled. Then try another upload. I am looking at the uploaded list from all users and I don't see any hint of you uploading anything. So - we didn't get them for whatever reason.

The 3 videos that are being processed seem to be stuck. The duration of the videos shows me 0 seconds. So this is not good. I don't even see a video title on them. I will see what I can do about deleting them from your history.

Why is the page telling me this is not a valid format?

Then the answer is no. The Nick wasn't changed.
