Over the past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing occasionally slow and incomplete loading of gallery thumbnails. Independent of the size of the gallery, I often only get about half the thumbnails of any particular gallery to load. Most of the time, a refresh (or two or three) will get the missing thumbs to finally appear. This morning, though, I've hit a couple of galleries where, even after four or five refreshes, I still am not getting all the thumbs to load.
