How long will my profile be "under review"

Postby niptwist on Mon Jan 05, 2026 8:26 pm

Hi.

A couple of weeks ago I got a message that I had other tags on a couple of galleries besides “AI” and those galleries would be deleted. At the time, I was unaware of the tagging rule re: AI, because so many of the other galleries I saw had more than an “AI” tag, so I was simply following what I had already seen multiple times. I went and deleted one gallery, then adjusted another to remove the extra tags. I also replied to the email from admin apologizing for breaking the rule, stating that I was not aware of it. The next thing I know, my profile is “under review” and has been for several weeks. Nothing in any of my galleries contains anything against the rules, so I am at a loss to understand what the problem is. As I said, I did attempt to make adjustments to stay within the rules. If there is something specific about my profile or galleries that runs afoul of the rules, I will happily adjust it.

Thank you.

AI content has had this rule for a long time. Not knowing the rules isn't a defense against breaking them. Pointing at other people breaking the rules isn't a defense against breaking them. There's a prominent update about the enforcement of the rule at the very top of the main index under "Announcements from our Admins" that should clear up the likely outcome for your account

they found out, changed and then updated their content, dude just stop being rude to other users you still have images from sites that are on the forbidden list in your uploaded stuff too. to op you were probably mass reported by another user on a gallery you missed.

From the announcement:
The AI rule has been here almost 2 years. Don't say you were not warned.

not everyone goes to the forum, a lot of people find out changes or rules for the first time in the announcements , in any event they cleaned up their stuff and became compliant to the rules after learning them. We need to be an actual comunity and not fight, there's already enough negativity out there, if they complied and fixed their stuff after they learned it should be ok, Right? as long as its just in the AI genre?

Right, not everyone goes to the forums. But that is their problem. You can't just join a website and do as you please without reading the rules.

Eventually they will read the rules when some of their galleries are deleted or their account goes under review. Then they will email me with the classic "I didn't know"

Did you know there are many countries you can go to jail because you spit on the ground? You get arrested. Too bad you didn't read the rules of the country before you hopped on the plane.

Just sayin'

Your account is back to active status. If you didn't correct any of your categories "AI ONLY" a site moderator will eventually catch you and you will be back in the same boat.

I get that but the Uploading rules haven't been updated so some of the more uninformed might not go to the forums to learn the rules , especially if they are younger and didn't grow up on dual site / forum type of sites( sorry is this is a bit scattered my dyslexia is doing it's thing lol). I guess just adding a link to the forum posting rules page (if that even exists as a single page) to this splash message on the upload page:
Uploaders are responsible for all the content posted on Imagefap. The following content is prohibited:

Nudity or partial nudity of children of any age (this will always result in termination of account and a report to the authorities)
Non nude pictures of underage children. We are an adult minded porn site!
Images that disclose or contain any personally identifying information beyond a first name about any person
Copyrighted material and trademarks that are used without the express permission of the owner ( FORBIDDEN PUBLISHER LIST)
Content that we have reason to believe was posted for malevolent purposes, including libel, slander, or harassment
Images that may be deemed offensive including, but not limited to, blatant expressions of prejudice, racism, hatred.
DO NOT upload any content that is underage or we will report you to EOKM instance immediately.
We examine our content on a continual basis and we maintain the right to remove any content that does not meet the uploading rules listed above. We also reserve the right to terminate your Imagefap account if you break these rules. This termination can be temporary or final, depending on the offense. These rules are also applied to galleries that are marked as private.

We are not responsible for the loss, deletion, or failure to store of any content uploaded to Imagefap.

I understand that it should be up to the poster to know the rules, but clearly posting on the upload page would probably help teach them, in the moment and make the moderators job easier if only a little bit, and every bit helps presumably. Thanks for responding and for all you do!! hope you had a great holiday season!!!

IMO, you need to make the rules clearer.

You've banned outlook emails, but there's 2 different threads about them.
The same with Gmail, there's at least 6 different threads about old emails through we're calling every gmail spam.

So even trying to do the right thing, you make it very hard to find all the information.

The rules in the forum is the only place to find rules. And if there is a major rule change I make announcements in red letters that can not be missed.

If you break a site rule you will likely find out the hard way because you didn't read the rules.

Try this. Go to Barcelona or Singapore. Spit on the ground. You will get locked up. It is against the rules. Saying you didn't know that spitting was against the law will get you nowhere. You should have read the country rules before going.
