Yep. Latest explanation is the image servers are offline AND being "looked at." Now you know as much as I do about it. Cheers. BZT

Thanks for the heads up, I thought that Firefox was falling apart on my computer I was losing my rag a wee bit with firefox when it wouldn't show images in the forums.

the problem is, when you click to get image codes for a gallery... they give you the wrong image url for the thumbs for some reason. i have no idea why. ill look into it.

Wow. I just had a thought. The gallery software in its "almost-virgin" state, as it was built and run on ImageCash, used to double-up random reference numbers on pics, so that sometimes you'd click on a thumb and a whole different pic in a gallery you wouldn't in your life surf to, would show up. With all the tweaks, patches and hacks that have been made here for/by ImageFap, this might be the same symptom, just manifesting itself in a different way. Problem is, with the cosmetic and other tweaks as numerous as they are, instead of a thumb in the forums to click on, you get a "dead link" and nothing shows up save the word "Image." All speculation, but there you are.

I did see that, but only, as is often said, after the fact (after the generator-vomited link for my latest fake in the Forum spat back merely a nice blue text-link). I've learned my lesson, though. For the posts I'm making that have images linked in them, I've taken to checking what the BBCoder spits out as thumb locations against where they really are on the servers, and making the appropriate changes before I finalize my posts. I even fixed the fake.

It's a little more work, but it's worth doing, and well, imo.
