Hi everyone!

A small percentage of you might have noticed a message from Admin saying that your avatar has been removed. This is not a big issue, you did nothing wrong!

This happened simply because your avatar was blank.

How this happens. For starters I must say we are pretty good about not losing pictures. And that says a lot considering the 500+ million pictures we have.

Every day I receive messages or legal notices to remove certain pictures. This is normal considering the amount of pictures we have, plus being here 20 years.

When an email arrives asking for a gallery to be deleted, your avatar might be in the list of removals. So the case would be your avatar was in a gallery someone else posted. And that gallery needed to be deleted. Your picture goes away with that gallery.

Another case might be your avatar was of a person who asked for either the picture OR a gallery to be removed from the site.

How to avoid this from happening again. You need to find a very unique picture as your avatar. The best bet would be to make a generic AI picture. A cartoon type picture is best. Do not pick celebs or other pictures already posted on our site. If you do chances are your avatar will be deleted again. Or use your own picture! Yes some people do that and they are legit pictures. Don't use your wife or ex wife please. That is plain dumb and dangerous on your part.

CLUBS : As you know the clubs are a pretty popular section of the site. And every club has a manager or temporary manager, which is me. The problem is that club managers come and go. Nothing is forever. When the club manager quits, doesn't pay attention to the club, the club can turn into a big mess. This past month I have been cleaning up the clubs a bit. Especially missing club avatars - just like the missing profile avatars. If a club avatar is missing I default the club back to a generic avatar. It looks a bit dumb. But it's better than a blank square.
