Ok, first water level report.

Upload works fine and fast on laptop. Don't know mobiles 'cause I'm an old pervert and a telephone is a telephone is a telephone.

I noticed that the images are resized with the upload. My gallery says the dimension is 719x1080 px but the image I uploaded has 1066x1600px. Same with the second set ot test pics. They are 1066x1500px and the upload set them to 767 x 1080px.

The ratio is correct, but as far as I see the upload gives me a fixed heigth of 1080px.

Is there anything I did wrong or is this bug a feature?

Yep, this issue has been reported. Resizing. Our IT team is looking into this now.

I just posted a set which was meant to be 1706x2560 in dimensions but i got 719x1080 and 1620x1080 in dimensions

I tried your proposed solution and still get adblock detected in private/ incognito mode (with do no track and block third-party cookies) even though I don't have adblock installed on any browser, but it shows up as I have it on all three my browsers-edge, firefox, and chrome. Also, under internet options add-on there isn't adblock.

Does windows 10 have in-build adblocker that I don't know about?

You are not alone. I am getting sporadic reports telling the same thing. Our IT guys are aware of this and looking to see what is wrong.

Not working for me at all. Click browse for files, select files from selected directory, select "open files" in popup window then nothing.

Agreed...I can not get it to work either...files just disappear on the screen....to empty galleries

Copy the pics to be loaded...drag and drop and they just disappear.

drag and drop photos files and it now pops up "Page can not be displayed"....then when I go back to find the gallery the name is there but it is empty.

Can not upload at all now.
