Why is Imagefap suddenly unavailable in UK even with Agego?

I sometimes get a message saying "It seems you are banned" with a little text-art guy shrugging.

It seems to be a temporary glitch - presumably a generic error message. If I close the browser and try again, I usually get in OK.

So yeah. Hmmm. I wasn't notified that the entire UK was banned until I saw many emails of people telling me this.

This is really weird!

I asked the site owners if they knew anything about this. I don't always get a quick answer. So we have to wait.

Here is a thing. Some people were pretty mad and asked for their account to be deleted. Their request was granted.

Knowing that, if an account needs to be restored it will be. BUT - there will be no galleries on restored account. Actually the account will be bare bones.

If you're in the UK and still want to use Imagefap, this might be a good time to get a VPN.

The legislation bans BDSM content (and mainstream porn) that depicts simulated choking.

Content showing people pretending to be related is not allowed.

Content where adults act and dress like minors is also banned

So a few things. What cumback2018 said is true. I have seen that statement over a few sites. Basically the UK says if you show "this or that" we ban your site.

The "this or thats" we could probably filter out from UK users being able to see. But it isn't a guarantee.

If, for example, a user posts a gallery of his wife. You know, the normal bedroom stuff. Mostly soft core. But mixed in the middle of all that the wife is tied up to the bed posts. Harmless fun to anyone. But no, the UK will see that as something different. And BAM - your site is on their shit list.

The filtering idea might work. Especially if we make a claim that we are trying to filter out what the UK thinks is naughty. You know, we are trying to comply in good faith.

The VPN thing. In some emails I told users exactly how to use a VPN. But it isn't for everyone. The signing up to another site, then turning on the VPN is too much. You see, we have many elderly people on the site. And this part I get because in the past I have taught people how to use the real internet. Not Facebook or anything like that. The REAL internet. When you hit a certain age it becomes more difficult to learn something. Add to that people don't like changes in their life. They just want to "click and mouse around" on their favorite websites. When a government wants to mess up your life with restrictions and you need to change your normal routine they get pissed and say fuck this. Close my account.

So for now the UK hasn't blocked us just because we are a porn site. They cleverly chose just a few genres. Which honestly is 90% of all web site have BDSM, tied up, rough sex or something similar.

Lets see if they ban the gay sites which are in to the same genres. I bet they skip those sites. Just a guess.

I was rather surprised to find ImageFap had been banned in the UK, but I switched my VPN on, refreshed the page and here I am.

Goddamn interfering government.
