AI categorisation

Just had a load of AI galleries deleted because they were incorrectly categorised, and in hindsight rightly so, and I can see the logic behind this. However my mistake was that I thought that the AI category had to be included in the categories, but now understand that AI is the only category for AI generated images. Looking at other AI galleries I think that others may have that impression as well. Might be an idea to reinstate this rule clearly.

The rules for uploading AI content were first announced in 2023 and have been repeated many times since then.

If your gallery contains AI pictures then the only type of category you can choose will be AI.

If the rule still isn’t clear or seems open to interpretation, I suggest you read the announcement "AI Gallery uploaders - Must read"

I too lost a ton of galleries (about 200) due to the enforcing of the AI category rule. It really sucked, but I'm not here to argue with the rule. I almost never visited the forums, but now that I have, I realize the rule was publicized there.

I do hope this is seen by the mods though, because as I was reuploading today I noticed that the first "create a new gallery" upload page asks for title and then says "Categories
You can select up to three genres that best describe the content of your gallery". I'm not a coder, and so this might be difficult, but I wonder if it might be possible to add into that text "Categories

I know it has created heartache for me and other AI creators to have our galleries disappear and I can only imagine it increases the workload for the mods/admins. This might be a way to help explain the rule and keep people from breaking it.. Again, hoping a mod/admin sees this.
