in chat, the rooms tab disappeared , i need help

in the chat rooms page,

the tab that shows all the rooms that you can click on to go to and sits next to the users and friends tab has vanished.

so i can't change rooms, without closing the chat room and restarting the chat room page from the icon to pick a different room

can anyone tell me how to fix it ?
